1. How do I wash my Gore-Tex® jacket?
 - 고어텍스 자켓 세탁법.

Be sure to unzip all zippers before you wash your jacket.

You can wash your Gore-Tex in a regular washing machine, in warm (not hot) water, on a gentle cycle.

We suggest the use of cleaners designed specifically for Gore-tex, such as Granger’s G-Wash cleaner Plus, which work exceedingly well ? even in hard water they rinse free.

Many commercial soaps and detergents have UV brighteners, perfumes or whiteners and these are not recommended.

Avoid any cleaners that have fabric softeners in them (such as Woolite®).

Common household detergents could interact with the DWR finish and may interfere with the performance of the jacket if they are not totally rinsed out of the material.

Run the garment through at least one rinse cycle and tumble dry on medium heat.
 - 적어도 한 번 이상은 잘 헹구어줌. 중간정도의 열로 건조. (tumble dry는 회전식 건조기로 말리는 것을 의미)

2. How do I care for the DWR (durable water repellent) finish on my garments?
 - DWR 복원 방법

All of our shells are treated with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish that keeps the outer fabric from becoming saturated with moisture so that the breathable barrier can do its job.
 - 모든 아크테릭스 shell은 DWR 처리가 되어 있음.

Over time, the DWR gets worn away, most common in areas of abrasion such as the sleeves and shoulders of a jacket, or the seat and knees of pants.
 - 시간이 지나면 DWR은 마모됨. 특히 마찰이 심한 부분들.

This coating needs to be replenished approximately once per season, or more often if the piece gets a lot of use or washing.

If water is no longer beading up on your shell, it is time to reproof.

To re-treat your garment, use one of the widely available spray-on or wash-in DWR treatments for waterproof/breathable garments.

Wash-in treatments tend to be less effective than the spray treatments but are fine for reviving the DWR between major re-applications.

Often, simply washing the garment, rinsing thoroughly and tumble-drying at a moderate heat for 30-40 minutes can revive the DWR.

The heat application is an important element in activating the DWR properties of the treatment, and most of the aftermarket treatments recommend that some form of heat be applied to the garment after it is treated.

Once you have successfully cleaned and refinished your shell, it should work as new again.

3. How do I care for my fleece garments?

Machine wash in lukewarm water and tumble dry at a low temperature.

Do not bleach; avoid use of fabric softeners, do not iron or dry clean.

For best results, launder garment with like colors.
 - 비슷한 색깔의 의류끼리 세탁.

For the optimal performance, throw your fleece garment in the washing machine when you wash your Gore-tex jacket using Granger’s G-wash cleaner plus.
 - 최고의 기능을 위해서는, 고어텍스와 함께 세탁. ( 개인의견 : Fleece 의류의 경우에도 Granger’s G-wash cleaner plus를 사용하는 것이 좋다는 의미.)

It removes all of the dirt, prevents odor from building in the fabric and leaves no residue.
