As they say, "if the avalanche doesn't kill you, the lack of air will." Actually, we're not sure anyone says that, but it sounded good so we're going with it. The Snowpulse works much like an airbag, only it's manually triggered. Not only does the inflated bag help keep you above the snow, it protects your head and thorax (unlike the ABS System), and if you're caught under the snow, deflates after 90s seconds to give you an air pocket to breath.
